GeneXus Next: Global launch set for October 21
At a pivotal moment for the technology industry, GeneXus invites you to the launch of GeneXus Next. This new edition is designed to address the challenges of a new era defined by generative artificial intelligence. The online presentation will take place on Tuesday, October 21, at 2:00 PM (UTC-3).
GeneXus Next is already available. To celebrate, we’re inviting the entire GeneXus Community - as well as technology enthusiasts and leaders from all industries - to the online event “Introducing GeneXus Next,” happening next Tuesday, October 21 at 2:00 PM (UTC-3).
This event will be a great opportunity to get a first-hand look at the key features of GeneXus Next, the only Native Agentic Low-Code Development Platform specifically designed to build and to evolve enterprise systems with end-to-end Artificial Intelligence.
This new version of GeneXus is the culmination of more than three years of research and development, a process in which we solved some of the biggest technical challenges in Low-Code development and integration with Generative AI. As a result, we completely revamped the development environment: the IDE was rebuilt technologically from the ground up and is now a cross-platform application, allowing users to freely choose their operating environment (Windows, Mac, Linux). It also features native AI Agents that assist developers during their work, automating complex tasks, accelerating system modeling, and improving overall productivity. From this IDE, users can build and deploy new agents that run in Globant Enterprise AI, expanding automation and intelligence capabilities in every project.
GeneXus Next is part of Globant Enterprise AI, and through this platform, you can integrate intelligent agents into applications, securely connect to multiple LLMs, and ensure traceability, scalability, and governance in critical enterprise environments.
Globant Enterprise AI acts as a secure intermediate layer that enables innovation with artificial intelligence without compromising quality, control, or data privacy.
In this way, GeneXus Next extends the scope of enterprise development that GeneXus has led for more than 30 years, now adding the ability to create, integrate, and orchestrate intelligent agents within the same applications it has always built: mission-critical, secure, scalable, and sustainable systems.
Nicolás Jodal, CEO of GeneXus, will lead the presentation, which will also feature Gisela Bertelli (GeneXus CBO), Gastón Milano (Globant Enterprise AI CTO), Gustavo “Guscarr” Carriquiry (GeneXus COO & Product Manager), and Federico Azzato (GeneXus Tech Director).
“GeneXus Next arrives in the midst of a technological wave that is redefining, in real time, the architecture and practice of software development - and the software we build,” Jodal explains. “GeneXus Next is the natural evolution of a platform born to model, generate, and orchestrate systems and processes with assistants and intelligent agents - not as an added layer, but as its core DNA.”
For customers, GeneXus Next represents a natural, frictionless continuity. This new platform consolidates everything the GeneXus Community already knows and uses, and enhances it with new agentic capabilities. This will allow users to continue leveraging the value of what they've already built, while natively incorporating Generative AI, Symbolic AI, and intelligent assistance capabilities.
“Our users will be able to adopt GeneXus Next progressively, without rewriting or losing anything, and begin capitalizing on its benefits from day one. We’re talking about a technology that not even OpenAI, Amazon, Microsoft, Google, IBM, Huawei, or Tencent have. This unique combination belongs only to Globant and the GeneXus community,” adds Bertelli.
