Consultoria de Sistemas was created in 1992 with the objective of offering professional services in the area of IT, and the company decided, in 1999, to migrate to GeneXus. The results could not have been better.

Consultoria de Sistemas was created in 1992 with the intention of offering professional services in the area of IT by developing manually with the Dbase, Clipper and FoxPro languages. In 1996 they started to work with GeneXus and three years later, all the company’s applications had been converted to that tool. The 2000 milestone was the excuse to make the complete migration. And it seems to have been the company’s best bet.

From that moment on, using constant training, new projects were integrated with other GeneXus solutions such as GXquery, data warehousing solutions with Gxplorer, or even Gxportal, which was used both for the creation of their portal last year and for similar projects for current clients.

Consultoria de Sistemas is devoted mainly to three business areas. One is consulting, where clients receive support in the use of IT, based on the experience and knowledge held by the GeneXus Solution Partner.

They also design, develop and implement customized IT solutions, aiming to understand as much as possible the clients’ businesses in order to obtain the best possible result.

In turn, Contasis, which is the main product of , is the one used to integrate most of the solutions they have developed. Contasis is an accounting system with over 8 years of constant development, which is parametrizable, and thus adapts to the clients various needs, granting greater flexibility to the users. And working with GeneXus has only brought benefits.

“We specialize in offering customized solutions for each client. Even though we have products that cover specific requirements, every time we have implanted a solution we have made some type of customization, which has been very easy because we do it with GeneXus” ensured Juan Pablo Crespi, Systems Consultoria Director. “We see that there are new technologies all the time and life cycles get shorter so we think that the advantage of standing on GeneXus grows all the time. It allows us to continue working with the same tool without losing our asset, that is, the knowledge we have acquired in all these years, and which is documented in our knowledge bases", he explained.

As a Solution Partner Silver they participate in the GeneXus Alliance, which facilitates continuous contact with the existing tools and versions of GeneXus solutions. “We have been Solution Partners for 10 years, and although Artech has grown a lot, we are still talking to the same people and getting the same level of response, even though there are many more and much larger clients than us” commented Crespi.

The vision, for the future, is exactly the same as 15 years ago when the company was founded: Offering custom made solutions for their clients, with the same concept that solutions have to adapt to the company’s realities and not the other way around.
