The GeneXus Canary Channel is a freely accessible page that contains the latest features of GeneXus Next and GeneXus for Agents, with continuous updates ahead of the stable release.
GeneXus is introducing the GeneXus Canary Channel, a new distribution channel designed for those who want early access to the most recent updates in GeneXus Next and GeneXus for Agents.
This new online page is public and is part of the GeneXus Download Center, the official repository where users can download the latest versions and updates of the entire GeneXus Suite.
"The GeneXus Canary Channel offers daily updates and experimental changes, giving early adopters a firsthand look at the evolution of GeneXus Next and GeneXus for Agents. It is intended for testing purposes, so it is expected to find incomplete features or some instability alongside the latest innovations," adds Martin Torrado, GeneXus Technical Support Specialist Sr.

To provide feedback and become an active part of GeneXus's evolution, you can request access to the GeneXus Beta Channel, an exclusive forum for customers. Access is granted by request, subject to approval from GeneXus.

With this integration, teams can work with coding agents such as Globant CODA, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex to read objects, propose changes, generate auxiliary code, and explore existing systems, expanding the ways of interacting with the KB beyond exclusive use of the IDE.
GeneXus's deterministic engine remains unchanged. Code continues to be generated with semantic validations, normalization, and impact analysis at every step. What changes is the way teams interact with the KB in this new context.
