Globant and GeneXus Join Techy X el Día 2026
Students from Centros Educativos Impulso (Uruguay) will visit the Globant and GeneXus offices in Montevideo as part of the new edition of Techy X el Día 2026, a day dedicated to motivating and inspiring teenagers and young people to explore their future in the world of technology.
The Globant and GeneXus teams in Montevideo (Uruguay) are joining “Techy X el Día,” an initiative organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Information Technologies (Cuti), which aims to encourage girls and young women to study and work in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), promote female leadership, and break down stereotypes.
The activity, which will take place next Thursday, April 23, 2026, within the framework of International Girls in ICT Day, will include the participation of students from Centros Educativos Impulso, an institution located in Casavalle whose main mission is to eliminate the learning gap in socially vulnerable contexts through a model of high academic standards and comprehensive education.
The day will include an activity designed to encourage students to interact with artificial intelligence, as well as a talk explaining the importance of continuing their education and highlighting the power of Uruguay as a technological hub in the region. There will also be a guided tour of the offices.
