Automated testing with just one click: Try GXtest 2.0 beta and be part of the #GeneXus beta testers community!
The new version of GXtest introduces important optimizations mainly aimed at facilitating the startup of new testing projects: just one click in GeneXus creates a test project for the KB, automatically generating test cases and data. Be part of the beta testing process and discover the benefits of automatic tests for your applications!
The run-up to the release of GXtest 2.0 is a great opportunity for the GeneXus Community to use the beta prior to its commercial launching, to experience, in advance and free of charge, the benefits in productivity and quality that its products imply through automated testing for applications.

GXtest is a tool specifically designed for the automation of functional tests of web systems developed with GeneXus. Once the test cases have been defined, GXtest executes them automatically on different browsers without the need for monitoring and compiles all execution results. Test cases are defined with the components of the GeneXus knowledge base, and thus easily and automatically adapt to changes in the application or to the way in which GeneXus generates it, as opposed to traditional automation tools. And also, the tests made for one application may be used to test the same application generated in another language or with a different version of GeneXus. For example, executions may be scheduled for the nighttime in order to analyze results the next morning.
The GXtest 2.0 version allows you to easily automate tests for web applications developed with GeneXus.
With just one click from GeneXus’ IDE, an automatic process will define, in GXtest, all you need to test your application, including the generation of a significant number of test cases and the data to be used in them. Users can later add new data sets for the same tests, and enhance the basic test cases by modifying flows or adding validations, and even create new cases by simply doing a manual test while GXtest records it as a new case.
