Web Applications and GUI applications
There are several differences between a graphic environment and the Web environment, and this must be taken into account when deciding the application type to be developed. This document hopes to show the main points to consider when making that decision.
More
and more, the massive use of Internet favours the development of more flexible
and complex applications for this new environment. It is therefore necessary to
re-engineer the current applications and, in many cases, develop new ones. There
are several differences between a graphic environment and the Web environment,
and this must be assessed when deciding the best application to be developed.
Aiming to reflect the main aspects that GeneXus users should take into account,
ARTech has issued a document about this topic available in the GXDL (link) ,
included in this issue in the section Training and Information
Facts.
