The very best at the Meeting
The list of lecturers keeps getting better as it adds outstanding personalities and we learn further details about what will be the greatest GeneXus community meeting yet.
One month away from the XVIII GeneXus International Meeting news keep pouring in, including the list of important regional lecturers who will take part in the event:
• Fernando Brum. Computer engineer from the Universidad Simón Bolívar, Venezuela. Board Member of Uruguay’s National Agency for Investigation and Innovation (ANII). He acts as technological advisor in project coordination for Plan CEIBAL, the Uruguayan public policy for connectivity and digital education based on Nicolas Negroponte’s One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) program.
• Miguel Brechner. President of the Uruguayan Technological Laboratory (LATU) and responsible for Plan CEIBAL. Board Member of the National Agency for Investigation and Innovation (ANII). Master in Telecommunications from the University of London, Imperial College. Electronic engineer from the University of London/University of the Republic of Uruguay, School of Engineering. He has managed several technology companies in Uruguay such as Coasin, Sonda, Tecnocom, Acer and Uniotel.
• Clifton Ashley. Commercial manager of Google Enterprise Latin American Division.
• Mariano De Larrobla. Founder and CEO of De Larrobla & Asociados Internacional S.A., a company devoted to the construction of programs for application in financial services (banks, finance companies, savings and credit cooperatives, stock and fiduciary fund entities), having performed around 50 installations in the Americas.
• Víctor Iparraguirre. Specialist in commercial alliance development for technological corporations. He was data management ISV representative at IBM and currently serves as ISV manager at Oracle Argentina S.A.
• Miguel Becerra. General manager for IBM Spanish South America. Throughout his career of over 25 years at IBM, he has developed broad experience in both the sales and service areas. He is an industrial engineer and a science graduate from the Universidad Católica de Lima.
Also, a Round Table made up of renowned panelists and moderated by the Uruguayan journalist Gerardo Sotelo will take place during the XVIII GeneXus International Meeting. This will undoubtedly be an event not to be missed, about which we will expound in following editions of GeneXus News.
Additionally, there will be – among much shared knowledge and innovation – a more destructured space for the purpose of enjoying technology from a different angle and having fun with the Meeting’s participants. Like last year, GeneXus Community Unplugged will set out to become a space in which talent can also be released.
