During the online event “Introducing GeneXus Next,” GeneXus globally launched GeneXus Next, the first Native Agentic Low-Code Platform. It is designed to facilitate the safe use of Generative AI in enterprise systems, integrating strict data security controls through its synergy with Globant Enterprise AI. This architecture allows organizations to innovate quickly while maintaining full control over their digital assets - a crucial combination for competitiveness and C-Level trust.

The roundtable-format event featured Nicolás Jodal (CEO of GeneXus), Gisela Bertelli (CBO of GeneXus), Gastón Milano (CTO of Globant Enterprise AI), Gustavo “Guscarr” Carriquiry (COO and Product Manager at GeneXus), and Federico Azzato (Tech Director at GeneXus), who shared GeneXus' disruptive vision for tackling enterprise software challenges in this new AI-driven era.

1. From Low-Code to Native Agentic Low-Code

The new edition of GeneXus positions itself as an Agentic Low-Code Platform. In this software development approach, AI - in the form of Agents and Assistants - is natively integrated into both the platform and the solutions built with it. Rather than adding AI as an afterthought, GeneXus Next allows developers to build agentic systems from the start, resulting in systems that can learn, collaborate with humans, and autonomously execute tasks.
 

2. Part of the Globant Enterprise AI Ecosystem

5. Agent Object: Declarative and Secure Generative AI

It is now possible to define native intelligent Agents in applications using just a few declarative lines. Developers describe in natural language what the Agent should do, integrating Generative AI, data access, and external APIs - without compromising control or security - all natively connected to Globant Enterprise AI for agent oversight.
 

6. Agent and Assistant Interoperability

In a multi-agent world, systems must interoperate with other Agents.
