Java, .NET or ...? The Technology Game
Heurys gathered over 130 people in Ribeirao Preto/SP on August 30. The President of ARTech, Breogan Gonda, participated in the event and he also met with the Polo da Industrias de Software de Ribeirao Preto (Ribeirao Preto's Software Industry Pole).
A psychologist was in charge of inaugurating the events conferences, encouraging people to adopt a brave position to confront changes and the talk delighted the audience.
The specific examples of situations of technological change and the use of GeneXus in the practice were the subject of the following presentations. Then it was the turn of the GeneXus clients who were in charge of presenting their own experience: CHB; Coplana presented its success story with GXportal;
Sagra presented its sucess story with GXplorer.
The presentation of the use of the Business Intelligence solution of ARTech in Sagra was made by one of its own users: the companys commercial manager, who gave his testimony of how he increased his decision making capability by saving time with GXplorer. Several success stories of application developments for mobile devices with GeneXus were also presented.
Finally, Breogán Gonda, President of ARTech, closed the first chapter of the Riberao Preto meeting by talking about the Game of Technologies.
After the lunch it was the time for round tables prepared with notebooks and installed products. Each one of the six tables gave the opportunity for a meeting of the participants with the GeneXus technology, a technical and a commercial consultant, to give details of their solutions and answer questions.
Parallel with the event, during the afternoon ARTechs President, Breogán Gonda, got together with the members of PISO (Riberao Preto Software Industry Pole) which gathers approximately 25 software development companies.
