GeneXus 9.0 MIX Course Calendar
Below you will find the calendar for the next editions in the MIX mode of GeneXus 9.0 course.
Mondays, February 11 and March 24, are the dates set for the beginning of the next GeneXus 9.0 courses. The main features of the course include:
Theory/Practice
Students will take Theory and Practice in a distance mode. Thus, students will receive the following material in a DVD:
Theory: AVI files with the theoretical part of the in-person course. They include the audio with the teachers' comments on each Power Point slide when they give the theory of this course under the in-person mode. They also show how each functionality is implemented in GeneXus as all the concepts are being introduced.
Practice: The material with the practical part of the course and all elements necessary to perform it.
During this period, students may email questions to an Artech instructor, and may take part in a questions and discussion forum intended to resolve doubts, and interact with other students. The teacher will participate in this forum during the first three weeks (distance stage) but the student subscription will remain valid up to the day of the exam, so that students may continue interacting with their peers.
In-person questions class
The teacher will give a summary of the main subjects included in the theory and will also answer questions. On this occasion, students will receive the script of the workshop to be implemented from then on.
In-person workshop
Once the theoretical stage is completed, and after performing the practice in GeneXus, students will attend the course workshop for a week. This workshop consists of the development of a simplified real application for didactic purposes to be implemented in GeneXus by the student, who will choose the different GeneXus objects under the teacher’s supervision.
Times are available from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. subject to the number of registrations.
In-person test
There will be a written test consisting of a comprehensive question paper on the subjects taught throughout the course, in order to assess the mastery of the basic concepts for the development of applications with GeneXus.
