Collaborative Projects: Participate with your project!

(01/08/2006-14:46)
Students and GeneXus client companies can participate in the Collaborative Projects program as participants and sponsors, respectively.

Collaborative Projects are development projects performed by groups of GeneXus users with GeneXus technology and for the GeneXus Community. ARTech sponsors this initiative with the aim of fostering integration and knowledge transfer within the GeneXus Community. In this edition we are announcing the extension of this program, which will work continuously, for students and sponsors.

GeneXus client companies who wish to participate as sponsors of one or more Collaborative Projects can do so by participating with their own or external staff. These collaborative projects can be the ideal occasion to carry out research or pilot projects in technologies or business areas they wish to explore, but for which they do not have enough resources or time.

University students who have certified basic knowledge of GeneXus (who have taken at least a basic GeneXus course) can propose and participate in Collaborative Projects. Projects can be performed using the GeneXus Trial Version or GeneXus licenses of sponsoring companies. This is a unique opportunity to learn, meet other GeneXus Community members and show your skill and knowledge to them.

Collaborative projects are managed through GXOpen (http://www.gxopen.com/), the web site devoted to sharing public projects based on GeneXus and updated information about each project is published in the GeneXus Community Wiki. Check out:

All the participants in collaborative projects that have been completed will receive a certificate of participation in the Collaborative Projects program. ARTech will also select some collaborative projects to be presented during the XVI GeneXus International Meeting, as well as in future international events. Those projects will be presented by their team at round tables where one or more projects will be explained.

To present your Project, to participate as sponsor or as member of a project or for any questions about the program conditions, get in touch with Armin Bachmann: armin@artech.com.uy
