SAN Mobile Receives SAP Innovation Award for Application Developed with GeneXus
The application to automate the industrial maintenance process was developed with GeneXus Low-Code and recognized by SAP as the most innovative of 2020.
SAN Mobile, developer and integrator of process automation solutions, has just received the SAP Innovation Award for its mobile application that supports the planning, processing, and execution of maintenance tasks in industrial plants.
The application, also called SAN Mobile and developed in GeneXus, was chosen among 500 others as the most innovative of 2020. The announcement was made during the Partner Kickoff Meeting 2021, an event that brings together SAP partners to present results, discuss strategies, and reward the most outstanding achievements of the year.
Among the criteria used by SAP, SAN Mobile was distinguished in the Innovation category due to its adoption of the most innovative SAP technologies, such as SAP Business Technology Platform during development; its commitment to co-innovation with support from SAP COIL – Co-Innovation Lab; SAN MOBILE certification with SAP ICC (Integration and Certification Center), and its publication in the SAP Store.
“We decided to develop SAN Mobile with GeneXus because of the capacity and simplicity of Low-Code technology to connect to SAP, which allowed our specialists to focus more on optimizing business rules and improving user interaction with the tool and less on development. The result of this choice was re-certification as SAP Certified Integration with SAP NetWeaver, which certifies that the data contained in SAP remains unchanged, ensuring the integrity of the client's business in the processes established in the ERP,” explains Francisco Bernabeu from SAN Mobile.
Ricardo Recchi, Country Manager of GeneXus Brazil, says that the application was developed in a record time of three months thanks to the use of Low-Code and points out that the technology's features made the required integrations to SAP possible, which contributed to the certification and the SAN Mobile award. “GeneXus Low-Code benefits both the developer and the entire chain of partners involved, improving communication, execution, knowledge management, security, agility and cost reduction,” concludes Mr. Recchi.
